Joe & Stacy: An Engagement – Stolen From Canada
This engagement session goes down in the books as the most quiet photo shoot I’ve ever done (at least at the beginning of it), and for a good reason… we started out dodging the 100+ degree weather outside and opted for some indoor pictures at the Kansas City Public Library. It was actually pretty fun “trying” to not talk so we wouldn’t get kicked out of the library. Afterwards we headed outside a nearby field where I finally got a chance to hang out and get to know them, including many “Do they have this in Canada…?” questions for Joe, as he is from Toronto. Joe and Stacy have amazing chemistry and you can tell they are just head-over-heels for each other. I absolutely LOVE it when my clients bring props special to them for their engagement session. Stacy brought a necklace that Joe gave her, a Scrabble game, and “Canadian vs. USA”-themed socks, flags, t-shirts, and my favorite, a homemade “Stolen from Canada” pin for Joe to wear. Can’t wait for your wedding in November!
