I’m not even kidding you… I’ve never photographed more tears by one of my grooms EVER. They are clearly head-over-heels in love with each other and couldn’t hold back any tears. When I photographed their engagement sweetheart session in downtown Tucson last year, I could instantly tell how much they adored each other so, of course, I couldn’t wait to photograph their wedding day. And honestly, one of my favorite parts was seeing her son, Miguel, so happy and so emotional for them to get married. This is another perfect example of why doing a first look with your almost-husband does not affect his reaction when he sees her coming down the aisle, but in fact, intensifies it!
When they told me their vision for how they were going to take their venue, the Stillwell House in downtown Tucson, Arizona, and really make it their own, I was so excited to see how it would turn out. They had homemade decor, geometric shapes, gold and copper tones, and lots of greenery. And it sure didn’t disappoint… even their cake was geometric shaped and oh, so delicious! Since they met at The Hub downtown, they also served their favorite lavender-flavored ice cream for dessert! I loved seeing one of my favorite Tucson wedding venues transformed with this unique and modern design. Everything was so stylish, from the bridesmaid’s blush pink dresses to the sharp-looking groomsmen in navy suits.
Josh and Eva, I can’t even begin to thank you guys for being so vulnerable with your emotions and for sharing such an incredible day with me. You know I wish you nothing but the best as you start your new little family’s life together!
Love you guys!!
