After dating for 9 years, John proposed to Brittany in Disneyland in front of the giant Mickey Pumpkin because they love Disneyland and she loves Halloween (plus! they’re also getting married the weekend before Halloween, exactly one year after their engagement!). They got it captured on camera and were treated like royalty by all the Disneyland cast members, making it a memorable dream proposal!
Their engagement session was at the end of March this year on a beautiful, windy day. And oh that wind… it totally played in our favor, especially with the flowy black dress that Brittany chose to wear. I’m pretty sure I asked her where every single element of her outfits came from because they were so darn adorable! I loved her white lace romper and tan ballet flats paired with a classic black button-up dress shirt for John. You can never go wrong with neutrals and her black flowy dress was so perfect that we used it at both the downtown and desert locations! And we just so happened to be shooting on a street with HIS LAST NAME, Simpson… how cool is that!? We quickly got to talking about our mutual love for food and going out to eat and now I have a whole list of restaurants in Tucson they recommended that I will definitely be trying! Y’all have been a joy getting to hang out with and I cannot wait for your wedding this October at St. Augustine Cathedral and the Hilton El Conquistador!!
Nice job, Teen Bean!
