Tonja & Pete | Brass on Baltimore Kansas City Wedding Photographer

I loved having the opportunity to travel back to my hometown of Kansas City for a couple of weddings this summer! Tonja and Pete celebrated their marriage at The Brass on Baltimore on a warm, sunny day in Kansas City, Missouri. As a woodworker, Pete had a true appreciation for the intricate hand carved wood in the Tudor Room and the stained glass windows really made a big impression to all of the guests in attendance. It is one of KC’s best wedding venues, that is both timeless and sophisticated with the six stories of chandeliers and ornate designs throughout.

Seanica with Cherished Weddings did a wonderful job planning and coordinating the whole event. One of her favorite florists (and now mine!), Found in Nature really helped tie the entire design of elegance and class all together… full of pink peonies, pops of green, gold details, and black and white striped ribbon, it reminded me of all things Kate Spade! Investing in a gorgeous bridal bouquet and a good floral designer is always worth it!

You can tell that Tonja and Pete are surrounded by pretty incredible people because I literally don’t think I’ve captured this many happy candids of people laughing and having a great time than at their wedding. One of the funniest moments I’ve ever witnessed happened at their reception when some ladies brought out one of the huge floral centerpieces out to the dance floor!
