Christa & Robby | Engagement Pictures in Tucson, Arizona

Christa and Robby met as freshmen while studying engineering at the University of Arizona, and after two years of being in the “friend-zone,” they decided to take the leap and now will be getting married next year! We had SO much fun shooting their engagement pictures in Tucson, Arizona, starting with a downtown backdrop and then ending in the desert for those sun-kissed photos in that gorgeous yellow gown. They brought a bottle of champagne to celebrate, not just their engagement, but we got to photograph their sweetheart session on HER BIRTHDAY! Their romantic connection with each other is completely apparent (as you will see) and the joy they bring out in each other is unparalleled.

Their engagement story is nothing short of adorableness. Robby went to her hometown of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada for Christmas, where they had plans to go to Banff to ski for a few days (where he planned to propose on a horse-drawn sleigh ride), but there was a winter storm warning, so they weren’t able to go. So they decided to brave the cold with her family to go ice-skating at an ice rink in the river valley that is normally packed but was almost empty due to the weather. They stopped to take a picture, and then all of a sudden, he was down on one knee (on skates!) ready to propose! Her family was able to witness it all and captured the whole things on video, making it even more special for this wonderful couple!
