I had the pleasure of getting to know Kristina when she was the maid-of-honor at her best friend, Alex, and Jake’s wedding a little over a year ago, and reciprocated the honor by asking Alex to stand next to her on their wedding day! Skyline Country Club is an elegant Tucson wedding venue with 180-degree views overlooking the city skyline. This wedding was constantly full of joyful, genuine laughter and emotion tears, especially during their private vows to each other and when Eric first saw Kristina walking down the spiral staircase to marry him.
Eric and Kristina’s wedding was formal and romantic with lavish amounts of lavender and blush pink tones. Their reception was elegant with ivory and gold draping, chandeliers, warm uplighting, tall floral centerpieces, and candles everywhere. Florals by Posh Petals were a huge focal point of the wedding, consisting of peonies, eucalyptus greens, soft ice pink roses, pink waxflower, sterling roses, and astrantia. Their color palette came full circle with the long lavender bridesmaid dresses, silver shoes, and the guys in ivory shirts beneath charcoal gray tuxedos.
One of my favorite things to ask my couples is what advice they have to others who are going through the wedding planning process: “Remember to just have fun when you are planning your wedding! If planning is getting stressful (and trust us, it will!), take a break and take time just to be with each other. All that matters is that you get to marry the person with whom you want to spend the rest of your life. The vendors will get booked, the wedding dress will fit however it fits, and no matter what you do something will go wrong on the wedding day, so just relax and remember to enjoy just being with your new wife/husband and all the loved ones that are there to support you!” Thank you, Kristina and Eric, and both of your families, for sharing your day with me.
