I had the pleasure of meeting Joe and Stephanie on the day they got engaged at her sister’s wedding last fall and I got to capture the whole thing! Joe came up to me earlier in the day, shaking with nerves and excitement as he quietly told me that he would be proposing to his true love that night. As the toasts came to an end, Matt, the groom, asked Joe if he would be his brother-in-law. Stephanie still didn’t know what was happening until Joe walked over, got down on one knee, and the rest is history!
These two are both talented photographers and Joe is also a very gifted sculptor at the Metal Arts Village. They told me they wanted their engagement photos to incorporate the natural environment around them, so downtown Tucson was perfect for their engagement pictures. We were surrounded by beautiful architecture, lots of leading lines, and so many interesting backgrounds in one square block. They were naturals in front of the camera, getting so caught up with each other it was as if I wasn’t even there. And just wait until you see Stephanie’s second outfit, a rose gold sequined top paired with a black tutu and pumps!! 🙂 Their fall wedding will be this October and I cannot wait to document their special day!
Wow, time goes by Fast. I thought that proposal was so unique, and I have been waiting for more pictures of this couple; congratulations to them both! Beautifully captured in pictures are memories of their journey together. Very nice!
