connect with me
A midwestern girl who fell in love with the romance of the desert, I love ice cream, cooking for my friends, and loving people well.
hello, I'm tina!

Kelsey and Steven’s wedding day was nothing short of a fairytale. Steven is an avid golfer so naturally, Tubac Golf Resort was the perfect setting for their wedding. They shared their personal vows on the lush green lawn with views of the golf course and the breathtaking Santa Rita Mountains in the distance. Their wedding colors consisted of a cooler palette of lilac purple, deep plum, muted greens, shades of grays and blues, and hints of gold. Kelsey chose a unique, vintage-style wedding gown with a keyhole back from J Bridal Boutique that she paired with the cutest gold bling stilettos. There were lots of tears (I’m looking at you Steven ;)) with emotions at an all-time high leading up to this day that they’ve been looking forward to for a long time.
Not only is Kelsey a caring person who works as a nurse, but I found out she’s also extremely creative, handcrafted all of the bridesmaid gifts. She included a personalize totes, copper Moscow mule mugs, customized champagne flutes, scented candles, artisan soap bars, and handy wedding day survival kits. She also created a special one for her junior bridesmaid and flower girl that had lots of fun goodies and crafts in them to enjoy on the wedding day.
This was a dream team of some of my favorite Tucson wedding vendors! Their outdoor wedding reception was on the Otero Lawn, a romantic garden setting under a canopy of foliage. Melanie with Adorn Rental and Design seriously knocked it out of the park to pull off the dreamiest setting I’ve ever seen for a reception. Next to the chiavari chairs were farm tables draped in gold table runners, pillar candles, and eucalyptus garland cascading across the top to make up the centerpieces. There were numerous hand-drawn elements include the seating chart and table numbers, assorted signage, and (my favorite) a huge banner that read “BEST DAY EVER!” hanging from fairytale tower behind their sweetheart table! And we can’t forget THE dessert table styled by Crumbs Cake Boutique made up of buttercream cakes adorned with gorgeous sugar flowers, cake pops, cupcakes, and macaron confections. Seriously, I’m drooling now! And once it started to cool down outside, Fernando with Raza Entertainment kept the party going when the dancing moved indoors to the Geronimo Ballroom for some late night fun!
Kelsey and Steven, you guys make me smile so big every time I think about you because of your radiant joy when you’re with each other. Thank you both for sharing your special day with me… it has been an honor to be a part of it!
