connect with me
A midwestern girl who fell in love with the romance of the desert, I love ice cream, cooking for my friends, and loving people well.
hello, I'm tina!

Part of being an entrepreneur means planning ahead for potential, but unlikely scenarios. One of my responsibilities is having associate photographers available to fill in should I be unable to under extreme circumstances. I have had these kinds of plans in place for years but never had to use them… until Ashley and Paul’s wedding! They booked their wedding with me before I knew I was pregnant. Once I realized that my due date and their wedding were just 5 days apart, I immediately contacted my friends Amber and Chris. We have worked together frequently over the years and knew I could trust them to cover Ashley and Paul’s with the same level of care and artistry I have perfected in my own business. I am thrilled to be able to share the collaborative work of my team with you.
Tubac Golf Resort and Spa was the perfect setting for Ashley and Paul’s classic and elegant navy blue and gray wedding. Their wedding coordinator, Katie with KAM Events, was a joy to work with from the beginning and ensured the day went smoothly. As always, Atelier de LaFleur crafted a gorgeous bouquet, which was made up of delphinium, hydrangea, garden roses, ranunculus, and silver dollar eucalyptus. The garden flower theme was carried throughout, including the matching bridesmaid robes and Ashley’s floral hairpiece.
The couple included several personal touches to make the wedding unique to them. Ashley’s wedding bouquet had a charm bracelet made with her late father’s picture and had one of his blue shirts sewn into the underside of her dress as her “something borrowed.” Right before the ceremony, a blue (Ashley’s dad’s favorite color) butterfly was spotted flying around on the bushes outside the chapel. Butterflies are often thought to represent loved ones who have passed on, so I like to think this was her daddy’s way of saying hello to his little girl on her wedding day. They had the church bell rung seven times after the wedding ceremony, as seven is a holy number. Also, Paul is a huge movie fan, so at the reception, there was a “movie” area complete with freshly popped popcorn and a slideshow of the two of them and their journey together.
Thank you, Ashley and Paul, for entrusting your day to me and my team. I wish you both the absolute best in marriage and in life!
