Stylized Photoshoot at the Yuma Sand Dunes

Sunday morning, I made an impromptu decision to join some of my Tucson clickin’ chicks for a stylized elopement photoshoot out in the desert, with a four hour drive out to the sand dunes in Glamis, California, just past Yuma, Arizona. It was a great time to bond with my new friends and explore one of God’s beautiful creations.

I debated all morning if I really wanted to spend all day in the car for only an hour and a half of shooting. I was on the phone with my sister, Kat, and she told me, “the only things you regret are the things you don’t do,” and that was that. And I’m so glad I did! This is one of my all-time favorite photoshoots that got me out of my comfort zone in a completely different environment and it was truly breathtaking. I love escaping from the day-to-day mundane every once in awhile and just creating just to create. Just for me.

Our gorgeous models were couples Samantha and Garreth and also Samantha and Matt. At the very end, I also got to photograph my good friend Anh and her family. This photoshoot was conceptualized and styled by the talented Brandy Britton.
