I mean can you not FEEL the authentic joy just radiating from Kelsie and Andy’s Kansas City engagement pictures?! I always love going back home to the midwest, it’s always a refreshing change from our Tucson desert and this golden summer light did not disappoint. Put me in an endless field of tall grasses and huge trees and I’m a happy girl! We photographed their engagement session at Shawnee Mission Park, a favorite pastime of mine that has miles of nature walks and hiking trails, a dog park, swimming beach, and boat dock marina.

Wow… where do I begin… I have known Kelsie since we were literally in diapers. Our families grew up down the street from each other and our parents were the best of friends. So to see her this happy and in love makes my heart SO happy! When she said Andy didn’t like pictures and hardly ever smiled for them, I knew I’d be up for a challenge… come to find out that was completely FALSE whenever he is around her and apparently I’m pretty funny too 😂🙌🏼💗 Gahhh… I mean just look at the way he looks at her! They were so much fun to be around, my cheeks were literally hurting from smiling and laughing so much!
